Monday's presentation was given by Greg
Boruff on
Reason's
Meats. Located in Buffalo Prairie,
Reason's Meat Locker has been servicing the area since 1938. Greg, who is the third person in the Reason
family to run the Locker, recently took over due to an illness in the family. Two years later Reason's Meats has nearly doubled
their staff: 13 full time and 6 part time.
Greg also shared some of the restrictions and difficulties that are
placed on facilities his size and smaller due to all of the federal and state
regulations that are in place for large meat packing facilities. Greg encouraged us to stop by his store and
