Today's Program: Parents As Teachers by A. Daufeldt & S. Williams
In Case You Missed It
Monday's presentation was given by
members of Leadership Muscatine: Brian McKillip, Mary Kirchaer, Aaron Steffons,
Sherry Reno, Candy Terril, Trista Sotelo, Jennifer Peterson, and Lynn
Roddy. This group named their project "Planting
the Seeds of Learning in Muscatine".
Their project had two main focuses the Flickinger Learning Center and Ag
Center. The group helped do some light
remodeling of the current Flickinger Center by updating electrical, painting,
organization, and much more. The Flickinger
Learning Center provides children from Jefferson Elementary school afterschool
care and help with their homework. The
other portion of their project was focused on supporting the Ag Learning
Center. The group will be conducting a
trivia night on April 9th at the Rendezvous beginning at 6 p.m. to
raise funds for FFA students. The Ag
Learning Center and FFA have a special place in the group's hearts and they are
hoping to make this an annual event that FFA students will continue. Thank you for all that you are doing in
Muscatine!

- March 9th at 7:30 a.m. there will be a make-up meeting at Snackers
- District Conference: April 23-25th in Burlington, all are invited to attend, please RSVP
- Pennies For Peace raised over $122 during the month that we collected loose change. Thank you!
