Week of March 30, 2009

Today's Program: Muscatine High School Musical Presentation "The Music Man"

Song Leader for March: Carlin Lawhead

In Case You Missed It

Last week's presenter was Mary Shihadeh, Early Childhood Coordinator, on "Muscatine's Preschool Programs".  Mary shared with us many of the benefits to early childhood education and the impact it has on a child's future.  Next year, 90% of incoming kindergarten students will have had some type of early childhood education; her goal is to reach 100% of children.  No child is ever turned away from receiving preschool.  Every $1 invested in early childhood programming saves the public $7.  To learn more about these wonderful programs in Muscatine contact Mary Shihadeh at mcshihad@muscatine.k12.ia.us.
