Happy News: Scott Natvig is Relay for Life Honorary Survivor and he is also proud of the Cyclones!! Keith Porter is wishing he was at Spring Training!! Bill Phelan is thinking we did very well in our Blue Zone interview meetings last week and he wants to remind us to sign up for the GMCCI Annual Meeting for March 27, 2012. Sara Lande is happy that the Festival for Public Television is on with such great programs as Phantom of the Opera and others such as wonderful period musicians like Tony Bennett!! Tune in this week!!

Program for Today: Bob Albee introduced Katie Watson, Jim Elias, Ann Meeker, Mary Wildermuth and Bill Phelan as persons involved in Entrepreneurship Day. The event will begin at the Muscatine History and Industry Center and then the students (@50 MCC and regional high school students) will move to Pearl Plaza where they will meet various entrepreneurs like Tony Joseph, Chris Anderson, Brad Bark, Molly Cantrell Kraig, Lacey with Underground and Elly from Elly's Tea. These individuals will share their stories with the students.

Martin Carver will open the morning session and will be connecting with MCC partner colleges in Jordan and Haiti. The event is part of the certification coursework for MCC credit in Entrepreneurship.

In the evening , the Business After Hours will be a Shark Tank atmosphere as 3 student entrepreneur finalists will fight it out to become Entrepreneur Opportunist of the Year. Tom Hendricks, Brenda Garcia Van Auken and Tom Spread will serve as judges of the evening event. If you participate in the MCC Business After Hours on March 29 you will be a part of this great first event!!
