Happy News: Dick Stanley was proud to announce that Keith Porter has now been named President and CEO of the Stanley Foundation. Chris Ingstad was also proud to say the the Muskie Swimmers had claimed the State Title for the 3rd year in a row, and that the Girls Bowling Team won the Conference Title.Karen Diercks chimed in on the swimmers and proudly stated that her granddaughter is in the running for the future.  Harvey Allbee, Jay McKee, Charlie Lewis and Bill Decker joined the State title recognition cry as well. Charlie asked for a standing ovation for the swimmers and for Judd Anderson the Coach!!   Bill Decker was happy in addition to the swimmers, with the rousingly successful Muskie Booster Cake Auction which brought in over $38,000, also for the district's recognition for being 1 of 6 in the U.S. delivering on 21st Century Skills!! Harvey Allbee is proud of Keith Porter and the 3 peat for the swimmers!  Rick Ray noted that the Salvation Army Boy Scout Troop will be serving at Pizza Ranch on Wednesday.  Karen Diercks was additionally happy that the ShowChoir won this weekend also.  Steve Jameson chimed in stating that the Show Choir had done a fabulous job to win first place in their weekend competition!!

President Garvin read the names of Diana Broderson and Shane Orr for the first time for membership induction!!

Program: Steve Jameson  introduced Dave O'Connell from St. Ambrose University to share their involvement in China and India as an institution!!.  Dave shared a historical perspective of the University and then used a Chinese Student's Powerpoint to share his view of the University.  Dave talked a lot about the program opportunities for faculty and students to cultivate friendships and join initiatives to learn about education in China and India.  Intentionally, the University is developing exchange programming that is based on relationships that will foster individual growth and future program development. Dave's perspective was based on Business Student Department programming and participation.
