September 12... Mike Chapman will share his life interests and experiences...as publisher of the Newton Daily News, the author of 22 books and producer of 3 documentaries. He created the Iowa History Journal and the International Wrestling Museum in Newton and relocation to Waterloo in 2008.

Program: Jeff Armstrong introduced Tim Baldwin and Kelly Young as the program for today...on the new apartments at MCC. Nyweide/Scott Hall opened in the Fall of 2000 and this Fall another new building will open for students. A special open house will be held at 3:00 P.M. on September 30 to dedicate Hansen Hall in honor Ron Hansen, instructor and Mayor of Muscatine.

The apartments have full kitchens, private bathrooms and individual bedroom suites. The college experience is augmented by nice housing and supports enrollment growth at MCC. The buildings have surveillance cameras, and electronic fabs for keyless entry. Included in the facilities are laundry facilities and fitness center available 24/7.
