Mike Ruby won the February Poker game with 4 Kings.
Naomi DeWinter- MCC announces 2023 Legends Dinner honoring Max Allen Collins. March 30 at the Merrill. Tickets are available for purchase. Kim Warren- This weekend was YMCA State Swim Meet. Kim contributed $35 in recognition of the 35 swimmers representing Muscatine and an additional $5 for the five events her son Maddox swam in. Maddox earned 3rd place in the 200 Breaststroke. Sarah Lande- Sarah is happy to be back at Rotary. During a Community Action team meeting, the City said they are seeking a concessions vendor for the ballpark and swimming pool this summer. If you know anyone interested, please direct them to Carol Webb. Steve Snider- Steve is happy to be a new member of the Club. Mike Ruby- Mike spent the weekend at President Elect Training (PETS) in Newton this weekend. Lindsey Phillips- Bowl for Kid’s Sake is March 25. The 2:30 session sold out, so they have opened a 4:30 pm session. If you are interested in registering a team, please get in touch with Lindsey.

  • The Rotary Club, in partnership with MCC, will host a Poster Contest to bring awareness about Human Trafficking to youth ages 16-22 years old. Contest information will be posted on social media. A contest flyer is included below. Please share the information with the community.

The 2023 Summer Parks and Rec brochure is now available. Parks and Recreation will collaborate with the Library for a fun summer reading program for youth and adults. Parks and Recreation employ over 100 seasonal employees every summer. April 1 is the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Weed Park. The Golf Course opened today at 10 am. Weather permitting, Kent Stein and the soccer fields will open around April 1. Parks and Rec help coordinate over 150 events on city property each year. Reservations are already filling up for many city facilities.
