Jessica Wittman- Jess had a wonderful weekend starting the build for the Holiday Lights at the Lake Fundraiser, benefitting the Bird House of Johnson County. Frank Iliff- The Foundation dinner Friday night was fantastic. John’s keynote speech was exceptional. Diana Gradert- Diana and her family welcomed her 6th grandchild this weekend, Augustus Phillip. Mike Ruby- A group is looking to start a new Rotary Club in the Wilton/Durant area. Lindsey Phillips- Lindsey and her family enjoyed a weekend away, attending the Buccaneers game. Despite a rideshare debacle, she had a great travel experience. Rob Yant- Rob shared the sentiment about the wonderful foundation dinner Friday night. Holly Peterson- Holly is happy to be back after illness kept her away. Holly enjoyed being a part of the Central Haunted Halls event Friday night.
Club News:
- Rotary Fundraiser: Raffle Winner: Gretchen Nollman. Thank you, John Krieger, Charla Schafer, Melanie Alexander, Jessica Wittman, Megan Francis, Sarah Lande, Rob Yant, and Chuck Moody, for purchasing raffle tickets.
- Meeting Change: Monday, Nov. 7th, our Rotary Club will host an evening Literacy event, from 4:30-6 pm, for kids waiting on the waiting list for Big Brother Big Sister and current Big and Little matches. The event will include dinner, crafts, and reading activities. This event will replace our regular noon meeting for the day.
