Scott Schultz: Impact Fitness and Nutrition

If you have a body, you are an athlete. Impact Fitness and Nutrition owners are Head Coach Scott Schultz and Holistic Coach Autumn Schultz. Impact Philosophy is “we believe something as fundamental as nutrition shouldn’t be complicated, which is why we focus on a simple, habit-based approach.” This approach focuses on 6 elements: exercise, nutrition, stress, sleep, lifestyle, and support.
Exercise: get moving 5-7 days a week. Go for a walk, play a sport, work in the garden, take a class. Nutrition: focus on whole foods, not processed foods. Be mindful of added sugar. Eat a balanced meal. Sleep: Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep. Create an environment conducive to sleep, dark and cool. Manage Stress using the STOP method: Slow down, Take a Breath, Observe- How are you feeling? What are you thinking? And what other possibilities exist? Proceed, considering multiple possibilities. Lifestyle: Mental Health is Health. 3 Tips: Schedule time to Move, Incorporate a balanced diet, and prioritize positive self-talk. Support/Accountability: Tips: Do an inner circle Inventory. Bring people closer who support you and distance yourself from people who do not.
Scott invites everyone to check out Impact. They offer Free assessment, a free week of classes, and workplace wellness challenges.
