Recap from the March 9, 2020 Club Meeting:
Visitors:  Roger Lande was the guest of Sarah Lande.  We had 17 seniors from Muscatine High School attend - they all had 3.5 or better GPA's.  Karey Hawkins - a counselor at MHS visited us as well.  The microphone was passed around and the students introduced themselves and shared their goals after high school, who or what inspired them and their extracurricular activities.

Happy News/Announcements:  Megan Francis let us know that this Wednesday is lunch for a cause at Sunnybrook - this months cause is Muscatine 4-H.  Erika Cox was happy that she got to go to Sunnybrook and share talk to some residences about her visit to India to inoculate children against polio.

Cowbell Ringing:  Jessica Wittman rang the bell for the 300 Rotarians that showed up to support the Flight to End Polio.  She also thanked all the Rotarians that work hard behind the scenes to keep things moving in the right direction.

Club Business:  Jessica Wittman  - first reading for potential member Mike Wedell.  Rick Gosney and John Kuhl will be attending PETS later this week.

Program:  Our 17 MHS students sat at tables with Rotarians that shared their interests.  The students asked questions and the Rotarians shared their experiences, advice and tips about college as well as careers.  At the end, a representative from each table gave a summary of the discussions.  Thank you students and best of luck to you.

Our next meeting will be Monday, March 16, 2020 at the Rendezvous at noon.  See you there.
