Program:  Geoff Bissell - Raymond Corp.

Recap from the October 21, 2019 Club Meeting:
Happy News:  Tony Joseph was happy to be at Rotary.

Club Business:  Jessica Wittman reminded us that October 24th is World Polio Day - spread the word.  Save the date for our 100 year celebration dinner - February 1st, 2020.  Jessica also updated on polio cases world wide.

Program:  Our program was Joe Lily from the Robert Young Center Services.  Joe is the Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health.  Robert Young Center is a non-profit based out of the Quad Cities.  In 2018 it had 1/4 million patient visits and houses 97 Therapists and Social Workers.  In 2018 a Robert Young clinic opened in Muscatine on Cedar Street.  1 in 5 adults deal with a mental health condition.  1 in 25 lives with a serious mental health condition.  There is 1 suicide every 13 minutes in the United States.  Mental Health does not discriminate against race, income, etc.   There are national and regional challenges:  fewer students going into psychiatry, reimbursement rates are flat, and stigma associated with mental health.    Thank you Joe Lily.

Our next meeting will be Monday, October 28, 2019 at the Rendezvous at noon.
