Recap from the September 30, 2019 meeting:
Happy News: Jessica Wittman was happy that she was paid up from fining herself $5. Holly Thomas-Koehler was happy that the Hawkeyes won. Holly also let us know of a fundraiser for Almost Friday Fest on Thursday, October 3rd at Hy-Vee Market place from 4:00 to 8:00. And October 8, 2019 MPW is hosting Power Breakfast from 7-9:00 a.m. Frank Iliff took his Rotary Koozie to Israel and shared photos with us. Frank was beyond happy to be back in America.
Cow Bell Ringing: Jessica rang the bell for Greg Bock for his Induction today. And for Frank Iliff in earning his blue badge.
Program: Club Meeting.
We had the 1st reading for potential member John Krieger. Club voted to NOT have a Rotary meeting on December 23rd and December 30th. We will NOT be having a meeting on Veteran's Day - November 11th. Our Board members shared with us their responsibilities in Rotary and shared updates with us. Rick Gosney has vocational services. He is in charge scheduling our program, invocation schedule and after hours meetings. John Kuhl has service to humanity which covers foundation and the annual fund. Naomi DeWinter has youth services which covers scholarships, RYLA and youth exchange. Holly Thomas-Koehler has club service which she gave us an update on upcoming fundraising. Due to time constraints, the rest of the board member will provide updates at future meetings.
Our next meeting will be Monday, October 7, 2019 at the Rendezvous at noon.
