Program:  Our program was Hannah Howard presenting on the Muscatine Pollinator Project (MPP).  The MPP has been active in Muscatine for 3 years and has planted thousands of native plants and grasses in the community and teachers people to do the same.  The biggest project they have done is the Pollinator Park.  The park consists of 16 acres and is located by the dog park.   Within the Muscatine Pollinator Club, Mike Hagerty works with Bees - educating kids about the importance of bees.  "Butterflies, Bees and Brews" is a fundraiser the club will be having October 20th with the help of Contrary Brewery.  Last year Contrary made 2 special beers for the fundraiser;  Iowa Pollinator Ale and Prairie Fire.  The Muscatine Pollinator Club also gives out three $500 to MCC to support future conservationists.  They have a group on Facebook if you would like to join.  Thank you Hannah.
