Club Business:  There is still a need for donations to support the dog park benches and trail signage grant.  Rick Gosney gave us an update on the March Madness fundraiser - Larry Hetzler with Texas Tech and Diana Gradert with Virginia will play to determine who the winner is.  The winner will receive $200 and another $200 will go towards scholarships.

Program:  Our program was Pamela Crouch from the Living Proof Exhibit.  The purpose of Living Proof Exhibit is to provide therapeutic benefit of the arts to people impacted by cancer, to uplift people and give them hope.  This is done multiple ways:  exhibitions, creative sessions, art to go, and virtual Figge tours.  Exhibitions of art created by cancer survivors displayed continuously in cancer centers.  Creative sessions are free, ranging from water colors to ukulele, for anyone touched by cancer.  Art to go - projects such as puzzles and coloring books created by cancer survivors allow patients and their families to experience the soothing power of art whenever they need it.  Virtual Figge tours - patients receiving treatments in the cancer center virtually tour the Figge Art Museum with the help of a Figge robot.  September 5 - November 3, Muscatine Art Center will be hosting the Living Proof Exhibit.     Thank you Pamela.

Next Meeting:  April 15, 2019 at the Rendezvous.
