Guests:  Dave Utley was the guest of Craig Utley.
 
Happy NewsCraig Utley was happy that his father  - Dave - is visiting.  Craig's children are away at college and he is happy that they are coming home for Thanksgiving.  Holly Thomas-Koehler reminded us to sign up to be a bell ringer for the Salvation Army on December 5th.  Alan Ostergren is happy that the election is over.  Erika Cox can't wait to see our trail signage and pointed out that the dog park is open.  Melanie Alexander is happy that the ornament competition is underway at the art center. 
 
Club Business:  5 new members were inducted.  Jim Hayes was sponsored by Mary Odell.  Jim was CEO of Muscatine hospital.  He retired from the hospital in 2017.  He is now the Executive Director at Cross Roads in Muscatine.  Jim has 6 grandkids and he likes to golf and play the guitar.  Angela Boelens was sponsored by Shane Orr.  Angela is the Program Director at MCSA.  She enjoys helping families become more sustainable.  She is also a professor at Augustana College.  She has 2 children ages 8 and 17.  Frank Iliff was sponsored by Share Orr.  He moved to Muscatine in 1989.  Frank operates Rebuilding Together Muscatine.  He started the company through Leadership Muscatine.  Frank has worked on over 100 homes in Muscatine.  The goal is to keep people in their homes. Frank has 2 daughters and 7 grandchildren.   Hope Robbins was sponsored by Jim Nepple.  Hope is a CPA at NPL Tax and Accounting.  She graduated from Western Illinois.  Hope lives in the Quad Cities.  Her son attends college in Portland, OR.  Nisha Ladlee was sponsored by Diana Gradert.  Nisha does the Marketing at Family Resources.  She enjoys meeting new people and planning events.  Nisha lives in Milan, IL and is excited to get involved in Rotary.  Welcome to Rotary!
 
Program:  Kim Warren spoke to us about AIM - Aligned Impact Muscatine.  The goals of AIM are to increase the percentage of MCSD students who graduate from High School, increase the percentage of post-secondary completion, and increase training opportunities for adults to address unemployment and underemployment.  The Strategic Networks are:  Early Education, Academic Success, Post-Secondary Completion and Adult Education and Training.  Thank you Kim.
