The final phase should be done on May 23, 2018. The new spaces include a new front entrance, office space, new Howe Conference Center, and a new gym.  The open house will be at Business After Hours on the second Thursday in June.  Mel Steckel discussed the recipients of the Female Athlete of the Year Award which has been going on since 1976. An idea thought up by Gayle Sayles and annually brought to fruition through Mel's efforts.  Mel discussed famous keynoters and female athletes. She also stressed the importance of sports to health, academic success, occupational success and psychological health.  This year's recipient is Ragan Carey and the first recipient is 1976 was Jill Crouse.
