Program: Glad Cheng of the China Window Group provided an informative program on the work of the China Window Group in Muscatine and in China.  Glad has 3 goals:  People to People exchanges, entrepreneurial work and the new port.  Glad first came to Muscatine in May of 2013. Since then he has purchased the Friendship House where XI Jinping stayed, the Marie Lindsay Building, invested in the Merrill Hotel , and purchased Muscatine Travel.  He has also supported several musical cultural events including the Voice of Friendship Spring Concert, sponsored the MHS Choir to Bejing and sponsored 3 Chinese Orchestra Events in Muscatine.  The goal for the Marie Lindsay Building or the Sino American Center is to  be a place of friendship, showcase pingpong and host a Friendship Hall of Fame. Glad would like to host a China Window Muscatine Forum annually to exchange ideas among business persons.  He owns two Muscatine Centers in China that showcase Muscatine products and history.   The Sino American Center is being remodeled and will open sometime this Spring,r
