Happy News: Mike Ruby shared the new total of the WBR project including checks from clubs outside of our District, Naomi DeWinter promoted the Chinese Symphony Orchestra, Larry Hetzler promoted Eagles and Ivories, Caitlyn Ryan got married.
 
Program: Cathie Rochau presented on the Quad Cities Airport. She shared with the group the various parcels of land that the airport is looking to lease for development. She also shared that Iowan’s make up the majority of the cars in the parking lot, Muscatine County being one of the top counties. Many of the in demand flights are through Allegiant to vacation destinations. The airport has a new tool to help compare flight costs at http://www.qcairport.com/trip. Flying from the Quad Cities may be more affordable than you think once you factor in driving, parking, and your time.
 
February 1, 2018 the Rotary Club of Muscatine toured the new Merrill Hotel and then enjoyed a time of networking and celebration at Wine Nutz in honor of our 98th anniversary of being a club!!
