Program: Erika reviewed our club and district goals indicating our great progress so far this year!! Volunteer hours, $$ contributed, planting a tree per member! improving the gender balance and lowering the average age of our members... District goals include promoting the club and having a Rotary moment.  We as a club asked for more speaker diversification and more hands on activities and willing to try different types of meetings!!   During Day of Caring we planted 32 trees at 10 parks with 20 volunteers over 5 hours on a really hot day!! We have a new Tshirt sporting the slogan "People of Action". We have promoted the drive safely signs, articles in the Muscatine Journal and Voice of Muscatine, contributed to the Buffalo Bike Project.  We are only $900 short of a bike for every member. We helped with the 4th of July Parade.  Erika thanked the club for allowing this opportunity to lead.  Other ideas for implementation are ... growing our membership to 100 for our 100th Annivesary, making a local and global impact by supporting the second phase of the Pearls Project Progress, developing a media membership and a discounted first year membership.  We then discussed at our tables potential new members and listed them for inviting to join!!
