Program for November 7, 2016: Paul Harris Fellows and the Foundation!!

Invocation:

Happy News: We got into the Cubbies Spirit by singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame!!" Melanie Alexander is happy the "Framing the Future Campaign" was a success and the donor match of $100,000 was achieved. Mike Hagerty has a new granddaughter Adelin Ann, Kim Warren is happy that Rotary has several volunteers helping with the FAFSA Workshops, Paul Fitzpatrick is glad his spinal surgery is a success!! Jim Nepple is proud that his tax firm has achieved for 7 straight years the U.S. News and World Report Regional Ranking of #1!! Janet Morrow is happy that she was in the newspaper last week, Chris turns 50 this week and is happy about the Cubs!!

Judi recognized the following for their numeracy years of membership in Rotary: Hilary Tanner, Craig Utley, Scott Ingstad, Sarah Lande, Gage Kent, Mike Frye, Doug Krieger and Mike Ruby!

Program: Paul Fitzpatrick has proposed revisions to the Rotary Club of Muscatine By-laws. Revisions include updated language, the addition of email as a means of notification, and the addition of quorum (1/3 membership). President Holdorf requested a revision to the stated number of 9 directors. Attorney Eric Thomsen will now review the By-laws and revisions. A final draft will be presented to the membership with the intent to vote on the revisions at the annual meeting in December.
