Club News and Happy News: Guests were: Libby Goodman and Jim Bruhn. Libby will become Assistant District Governor and Jim is the incoming President of the Clinton Rotary Club. Mary noted the anniversaries of Bob Jensen, Charlie Lewis, Tony Joseph, Sal LoBianco and Bob Lande.  Charlie has been a member for 43 years!!  Muscatine Wrestling Team won the MAC Good Sportsmanship Award. Paul Fitzpatrick noted that the ping pong ball toss was for the Ponzeti Project and he is also grateful for a new back treatment!! Tony Joseph is pleased to meet Libby and Jim and also that his son Wayne participated in the State Problem Solving Team!!  Melanie Alexander is proud of the Leadership Muscatine Team that replaced the Japanese Garden Pergola and for this week's graduation!!  Chris Steinbach is happy that Janet had a special birthday and for the special Isabel Bloom Clover figurine honoring the Domestic Abuse Shelter. Larry Hetzler reminded us to turn in those winning poems.  Mike Ruby is pleased that Libby and Jim are advancing in Rotary and were with us today!! Caitlyn Ryan reminded us of the free pancake breakfast at Sunnybrook tomorrow!!  Nathan Mather proud that his family is growing to 5, a new baby boy should be arriving in August!!
 
Program: Manasi Nadkarni updated us on our Rotary Well Project in the old village of Pingori.  The locals, a special friend, the government and Rotary have all worked together to bring water to the village.  With the dedication of a special friend many problems have been addressed and water is available for the village.  The village may also have a sustainable crop to grow.  Pomegranite trees have been propogated and are doing well.  Manasi told of her personal experiences with the village and the wells as she visited them in January!!  A very worthwhile club project!!
