Acting President Judi Holdorf: introduced guest Tracy Nims. Trivia Night is January 31, 2016 at the Rendezvous from 4:30-7:00 pm!! Happy News was shared by: Judi Holdorf...Dennis had shovelled a neighbors sidewalk and got 2 tickets to the Iowa Game!! Janet Morrow was elated that Ragbrai will end in Muscatine this year!! Keith Porter is proud of his son Tom, who has just been selected to be in Army Flight School at Camp Dodge and he will be flying Schnook Helicopters..a life time dream!!  Larry Hetzler reminded us of Eagles and Ivories this next weekend and also of the Symphony Dinner and Performance on the 13th of February! See Larry for more details and tickets. Marv Krieger is happy to be up and about again after breaking his foot.  His first bone at the age of 90 and he empathizes with anyone with a broken bone!! Melanie Alexander is happy that the Family Day Exhibit opened and everyone is enjoying it.  The Mississippi River Collection is also on exhibit at the Figge.

 

Program: Judi Holdorf introduced Pam Collins and Mary Wildermuth who presented the program on our Facebook and Muscatine Rotary Webpages.  Janet Morrow is in charge of the Facebook page and requested photos for uploading from the membership.  Mary pointed out the highlights of the muscatinerotary.org site.

 

Information is accessible without a password on the first page that includes the upcoming speakers, district page access, current and past bulletins, as well as, great information for new or potential members on the site pages about the various committees and officers.  One can also access the district Rotary website from here and Mike Ruby briefly overviewed the district site information. The next page needs a login name and password.  Generally the login name until changed is first name.last name. 1660.  If you forget just ask for  help with your login and password by clicking so under the login.

 

When into the second page, access to email, member directories and personal information such as your attendance and billing information was shown.  Diana Broderson explained the billing site and the why of invoicing!!  Pam reminded anyone that would like further information or help with the Facebook page or the Rotary site to ask for it at the Library of from Mary and Pam!!
