Program for April 20, 2015: Academic Excellence with MHS 3.0 Seniors at Lunch!!

Rotary News: The 3.0 Student Luncheon is next week on April 20th!!. April 23 is the next evening Rotary meeting at WineNutz sponsored by Hintermeister and Kundel. Nichole Sorgenfry and Josh Beelman were guests today.

Program: Shane Orr introduced as "the man everyone knows, has lived in Muscatine his entire life and is a Rotarian!! shared the latest United Way Needs Assessment data. The respondents were 582 residents, 48 service provides and 20 community leaders!! The summary is on the United Way of Muscatine's website. The number one issue is jobs and the economy, education, affordable housing, access to mental health services and families in crisis. Persons in our community making less than $60,000 a year were less satisfied with the community compared to other respondents.

The next step is to look collaboratively at the data and determine some broad based community goals.
