Invocation: Jim Nepple

Rotary Update: Guests today were Zena and Ralph Joseph, Annette Joseph, Marianna Haas and prospective member Nick Cusick. Happy News was shared by Mike Ruby, Chris Steinbach and David Stanley. Tony reminded us of the Thursday Night Rotary Meeting at First National Bank, the Madrigal Dinner Social and the need for help with the April 20th Scholarship Luncheon.

Program: Tennill Register and 6 MHS students presented an informative program on the 100,000 Initiative and the students experiences in China as their guests last summer. The group spent 4 weeks and in some cases 6 weeks touring and learning in China. Their trip was entirely paid for through the 100,000 Initiative.  Generally, the students considered people as friendly, the Chinese assume they are living in a free country, they have beautiful gardens and architecture.  The students each shared their personal perspectives on the country and their experiences about the culture, the food, and the religion. An interesting note was that the Official God of China is money!!
