Gavel Passing- Mark Roberts (’25-’26 President) to Marc Hines (’26-’27)
As the Rotary Club of Muscatine began a new Rotary year, outgoing President Mark Roberts reflected on a successful 2025-2026 year. The club welcomed nine new members, enjoyed informative weekly programs, held two membership recruitment events, and welcomed four new board members.
Incoming President Marc Hines then shared his goals for the year ahead. He challenged the club to grow its membership to 49, complete 100 volunteer service hours in the community, and increase meeting attendance by an average of two members each week. Volunteerism will be a strong focus as members work together to create lasting impact. A new "Voluntell" segment will be added to meetings, giving members the opportunity to share volunteer opportunities and recognize service completed since the previous meeting. Plans for the year also include four social events and four off-site meetings to strengthen relationships and connect members with organizations throughout the community.
