Marc Hines: The United Way is holding two volunteer days for people to help with the downtown building evacuation. The sign-up sheet is closed, but it is going to be hot, so please come out and help or contact Mason Kopf, mason@unitedwaymuscatine.org if you have some time to spare. There are two volunteer shifts each day: 3-5 pm and 5-7 pm on Tuesday, June 30, and Thursday, July 1.

Proposed Slate of Officers for ’26-’27 Rotary Year:
The board presented the proposed slate of officers, including the addition of Greg Slonka as a short-term Treasurer Shadow, since Lindsey will also serve as president.
Motion to approve the proposed slate of officers by Mike Wedell, seconded by Rob Yant. The motion passed unanimously.
Club Business:
- Service Project: Fall Hwy cleanup is set for October 9.
- Please consider supporting the Rotary Foundation, which funds both local and international service projects. Contributions may be made by ACH or check. Please contact Lindsey for more information. Thank you for your impact through Rotary membership and giving.
- We are currently accepting donations to purchase a tree in honor of Marv Kreiger. Please see Lindsey if you would like to contribute.

Founded in Muscatine in 1947 as the Home-O-Nize Company, HNI has grown into a global manufacturer of workplace furnishings and residential building products while remaining rooted in its founding values of treating employees as member-owners. Originally established to provide employment opportunities for returning World War II veterans, the company adapted to post-war material shortages by producing recipe boxes before expanding into office furnishings.
