Cherie Linderman- Cherie's son recently got engaged. Mike Wedell- The service project on Friday was great. The group cleaned 1.9 miles on Hwy 22 and collected 5 bags of trash. Please like and share the Club Facebook post. Megan Francis- During a press conference at the hospital on Thursday, Trinity Muscatine was awarded a $3.1M Healthy Hometowns grant to purchase a daVinci 5 surgical robot. Mike Ruby- Mike attended the D6000 Peace Pole installation. This was the last official leadership function after 27 years in Rotary Leadership positions. Mike’s first Rotary leadership position was in 1999. Mike encourages everyone to get involved in leadership opportunities with the district.

The club will vote on the proposed slate at the June 29 meeting.
Club Business:
- Service Project: Thank you to everyone who participated in the first Hwy cleanup. Mark your calendars, the fall cleanup is set for October 9.
- Please consider supporting the Rotary Foundation, which funds both local and international service projects. Contributions may be made by ACH or check. Please contact Lindsey for more information. Thank you for your impact through Rotary membership and giving.
- We are currently accepting donations to purchase a tree in honor of Marv Kreiger. Please see Lindsey if you would like to contribute.

David Lu – Bayer Crop Science (Leadership Muscatine)
David Lu and members of the Leadership Muscatine Class of 2026 shared their community project, "Filling in the Blank Space," which aims to strengthen perceptions of Muscatine as an ideal place to live, work, and play. The project was inspired by the fact that approximately 10,500 people commute into Muscatine each day rather than choosing to live in the community. Recognizing the opportunity presented by increased visitors to the new MUSCO Sports Center, the group developed a series of "Did You Know?" factoids designed to highlight Muscatine's unique strengths, amenities, and quality of life. Through physical displays, digital content, and partnerships with community organizations, the project seeks to create moments of discovery that inspire visitors and residents alike to view Muscatine as a community full of opportunity and pride.
