Join us for a hands-on volunteer opportunity collecting native prairie seeds from local prairie remnants. The seeds collected will support local prairie restoration and reconstruction projects and help create pollinator habitats. Volunteers will hand-collect seeds in prairie areas, so please dress appropriately for the outdoors. Closed-toed shoes, long sleeves, and long pants are recommended. Don't forget the bug spray! No experience is necessary. Come enjoy some time outdoors while helping preserve and restore our local prairie habitat. |
